Fiona Collins, Registered Massage Therapist
After graduating from Teacher’s College in 1993, it took Fiona a few years of traveling and working different jobs before she finally found her calling. She entered Sutherland Chan School of Massage Therapy in 1997 and opened up Helping Hands Massage Therapy with Craig Oatman in 1999. She then joined the Parkdale Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic team in early 2008.
Fiona combines myofascial, deep tissue and trigger point techniques to help release tension and restrictions in the muscles with lymphatic drainage and relaxation techniques to maintain health and help prevent injury and illness. She enjoys a varied practice with clients from many walks of life.
Fiona strongly believes in the importance of self-care, especially stretching and learning techniques to help release unnecessary tension that we all hold unconsciously in our muscles and body.
